Welcome!

Forge Training and Development specialise in delivering bespoke learning and development workshops that are informative and engaging for health and social care professionals.

Training can be delivered at any location or at one of our venues in the region.

Groups can also be trained at 'The Forge', providing a range of flexible learning opportunities for Continual Professional Development (CPD).

All the courses are delivered by highly experienced trainers, and each course is adapted in terms of style, level and approach to suit the specific requirements of the potential delegates.

What we do

Forge Training and Development promotes and encourages good practice across the caring professions to deliver positive outcomes. By focusing on relationship-based models of work, we equip staff with the advanced knowledge and skills to develop professional resilience and manage stress.

We do this in two important ways:
  • By providing high quality reflective supervision to individuals, groups and organisations.
  • By offering excellent training and development opportunities to staff at all levels and stages of their career

'The course on reflective supervision was really brilliant, and has given me lots of new ideas. I can't wait to try them out!'

'Coming out to 'The Forge' for the day offered a short period of respite where we could think, talk and learn together. It was a good way to re-charge our collective batteries'.

Training courses are organised under three general headings
